Dr Alina Leigh

Dr. Alina Leigh is a general radiologist, who, despite her radiology career spanning almost two decades, describes herself as young at heart. With a focus on paediatrics, obstetrics, breast, and women's imaging, she began her radiology training in 2006, and has accumulated extensive experience, including Wellington, Australia, and her hometown of New Plymouth, where she has practiced for over 18 years.

Throughout her career, Dr. Leigh has held influential positions such as director of training for registrars, clinical director, and intern supervisor. She has also provided invaluable guidance through advisory roles for local hospitals, medical councils, and the Ministry of Health, reflecting her commitment to providing the best patient care.

Outside of work, Dr. Leigh shares her home with a few furry and feathered friends, including cats, dogs, chickens, and sheep. Her hobbies include fishing, gardening, and traveling, where she finds joy in exploring new destinations and cultures. Additionally, she actively participates in her local church community.
