About Dr Maren Krueger
Dr. Maren Krueger qualified as a doctor from Southampton University, UK in 2000. Following a brief medical rotation, she pursued specialised training in radiology at West Midlands Deanery, Birmingham, UK, culminating in her fellowship with the Royal College of Radiologists in 2007. She qualified as a Consultant Radiologist in 2008, her training included a one-year fellowship in Cardiothoracic Radiology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
In November 2008, Dr. Krueger made the move to New Zealand, where she began her tenure as a full-time Consultant Radiologist at Fulford Radiology, Taranaki Base Hospital (TBH), New Plymouth, NZ, in January 2009. During her time there until 2016, she served as a General Radiologist with a focus on musculoskeletal and cardiothoracic radiology. Her dedication and expertise were duly recognised as she attained fellowship status with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2016.
From January 2016 to November 2023, Dr. Krueger balanced her responsibilities, working part-time as a radiologist at TBH while also contributing her skills as a co-founder and co-director of Taranaki Radiology Ltd. Her commitment to advancing radiology services continued as she transitioned to I-MED in December 2024, while maintaining her part-time role at TBH as a General Radiologist.
