Dr Rebecca Hughes

Dr. Rebecca Hughes, a graduate of the University of Otago, completed her Diagnostic Radiology training at Waikato Hospital in 2008. Following this, she undertook advanced training in Perth, Australia where she completed a Women's Imaging fellowship.

After nearly five years of work experience in Australia, she returned to Waikato Hospital in late 2013.

Currently, she is a Consultant Radiologist at Hamilton Radiology (now part of the I-MED Radiology Network), where she joined in 2016. Additionally, Dr. Hughes serves as a screening Radiologist for the National Breast Cancer Screening Programme (Breast Screen Aotearoa) and works at the Waikato Hospital Breast Care Center on a contract basis.

She has previously served as a part 2 examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
